News

Good Afternoon, I hope everyone is getting some much-needed energy recharging to hit 2021 with renewed resolve to prevail over COVID-19 no matter how long it takes.

Today is a short message to make sure everyone is aware of the City of Winnipeg - Economic Support Grant Program. The City of Winnipeg has launched the Winnipeg COVID-19 Economic Support Grant Program in order to assist Winnipeg small businesses and not-for-profit organizations that have been forced to prohibit access to their premises due to COVID-19 public health restrictions effective November 12, 2020. The City will be distributing a total of $3 million to eligible local businesses and organizations with funding provided by the federal Safe Restart Agreement.  Small businesses and not-for-profit organizations can now apply online for a non-repayable grant of $1,500. The grant can be used for rent, utilities, wages, personal protective equipment (PPE), sanitizing equipment, or other business expenses incurred.  This program is being run on a first come first served basis.  Deadline for applications is February 28, 2021.  The link to the online application is: https://www.winnipeg.ca/emergWeb/covid-19/economic-support-grant.stm

Our team will be contacting our customers that have been required to close access to the public to support you in successfully applying for the program.  For everyone else, feel free to contact us if you need more information or support with the program.

Stay healthy
