Account Specialist If you are a self-motivated team player, we need you! We are looking for a Bookkeeper who will be responsible for providing bookkeeping services to our clients. Duties include performing a variety of complex bookkeeping, accounting, and clerical services to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations.
The Account Manager / Team Leader is responsible to manage a defined group of key customer accounts. This role provides leadership to other team members to ensure the provision of effective, efficient and accurate financial services. This is a responsible supervisory position. Duties include performing a variety of complex administrative, bookkeeping, and accounting tasks. Duties may be provided within Platinum Business Services in addition to the primary responsibility of providing bookkeeping duties to Platinum Business Services customers. Candidates must have access to a vehicle.

He was a senior manager in health care, two national distribution companies and a large North American manufacturing company. With his understanding of making business operations excel, Greg pursued his passion for entrepreneurialism. He started, built, and profitably ran several companies. Always building on maximizing the talents of great people, a trusting culture, and effective systems to achieve extraordinary results. Greg uses understandable strategic business advise supported by automated technologies and systems to help our customers operate their businesses better. Our primary suite of financial softwares is Hubdoc and QuickBooks Online and Plooto. Platinum is a certified Profit First Cash Management company. We implement the cash management system with our customers to drive cash management with a purpose and dramatically increase their profit.
Senior Manager
Leslie has over 25 years of accounting experience working with large corporations, including James Richardson & Sons Ltd. and Canwest global Communications Corp. In addition, she brings experience to Platinum Business Services from her previous positions as a Controller of small-to-medium sized local businesses. She has experience with full cycle accounting, year-end working paper files, budget preparation and has a strong background in both personal and corporate tax preparation. Leslie is a graduate of the CGA program and has also completed levels 1 and 2 of the CICA In-depth Tax Course. When Leslie's not working, she loves to spend time with her family or catching up on her reading with the latest best seller. During the winter months, she is involved in a fun league at the local curling club.
Business Enhancement Manager
Hayley is a business advisor specializing in strategy, finance and management. For over 18 years Hayley has been working with owner managed businesses that range in size from $1mm to $25mm in gross revenues. Hayley’s primary focus is on the coordination of people, processes and technology to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of a business’ information needs. She has worked within a multitude of industries with a strong background in retail and manufacturing.
Hayley is a past Moderator in the graduate education program of her legacy designation – Certified Management Accountant – where in 6 years she taught aprox. 300 CMA Candidates. Hayley was also a national trainer and author for Intuit Canada, the publishers of QuickBooks – where in 5 years she trained over 2000 users and wrote a 300 page training guide in the application and use of QuickBooks.

Vivian has been with Platinum Business Services since 2007. She has a diploma in Accounting and Payroll Administration from Herzing College, and a diploma in Office Administration specializing in Accounting from Assiniboine Community College. Vivian enjoys learning new software and technology and is especially proficient with the advanced fetures of Quickbooks, Sage 50, and QuickBooks Online. In her spare time, she enjoys horses, horse racing and spending time with her family.

In her spare time, she enjoys weekends at the lake and spending time with family and friends.

Kerry joined the company fresh out of the Accounting Technician training at Red River and has become a valuable support person on the team and a very strong researcher of answers to unique challenges and setting up processes for the team. He works with most of our divisions in supporting the primary service provider.
Office Assistant
Sharon joined the Platinum Business Services team in January 2017, bringing several years of customer service and reception experience to the team, including ten years as a hair stylist. In 2015 Sharon earned an Administrative Assistant Diploma and gained work experience in a variety of contract positions. Sharon has just recently become an empty nester and is enjoying the peace and quiet. In her spare time she enjoys crocheting, sewing, baking and watching a little TV to unwind.

Patricia has 8 years of experience in accounting, in a variety of industries with the majority in the service industry.

Nailia has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Management. She is at the final stage of completing the CPA Professional Education Program. Nailia has 14+years of experience in Accounting and Finance in manufacturing, retail and service industries. Nailia has an experience with working with financially challenged entities and creating a financial recovery plan. Nailia also has an experience in implementing the new point of sale system that resulted in automatization of the process in AR Department and automatization of revenue reconciliation. Nailia is a Member and a Secretary of CPA Toastmaster’s club.

Dianne Antilla - came to Platinum with 30 years experience as a controller and divisional CFO after deciding to work part time and use her designated knowledge and experience to support our customers. On behalf of our company she provides Fractional Controller services to a handful of our more complex customers.

Herbert is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CGA) with 20 years in diverse tax, financial, and business consulting experience in his role as a CPA.
Herbert is dedicated to helping clients achieve business success in establishing practical and sound tax and financial strategies. Focused on services for small to medium sized businesses, he is committed to delivering services that meet each client’s unique objectives.
He has extensive accounting experience through senior accountant and management roles for a variety of companies and CPA firms. He has a wide breadth of compliance, tax strategy and strong financial process design experience. This allows Herbert to provide Platinum’s clients comprehensive advise in all areas related to their company financials.
He is passionate about volunteering and giving back to the community. He is currently sitting as a Board of Director for Peer Connections Manitoba (PCM) and South Winnipeg Family Information Centre (SWFIC) not for profit organizations.
