Greg Libbrecht

President

Greg is responsible for the vision and business development of Platinum Business Services. He was a senior manager in health care, two national distribution companies and a large North American manufacturing company. With his understanding of making business operations excel, Greg pursued his passion for entrepreneurialism. He started, built, and profitably ran several companies. Always building on maximizing the talents of great people, a trusting culture, and effective systems to achieve extraordinary results. Greg uses understandable strategic business advise supported by automated technologies and systems to help our customers operate their businesses better. Our primary suite of financial softwares is Hubdoc and QuickBooks Online and Plooto. Platinum is a certified Profit First Cash Management company. We implement the cash management system with our customers to drive cash management with a purpose and dramatically increase their profit.

Angela Hilland

Senior Manager

Angela is a CGA who has been working with small, medium and large businesses in a variety of capacities for over twenty five years, ranging from accounting technician while earning a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Manitoba, to Controller and management roles in later years. Immediately prior to joining the Platinum Business Services team in March 2015, Angela operated an independent public accounting practice, which enabled her to build on three years of experience at the Women’s Enterprise Centre as a Business Advisor and Program Co-ordinator of the WEC-Tech Program.

In addition to providing direct support in accounting, tax and other client services, Angela’s role as Quality and Systems Manager includes accountability for supporting the Platinum Business Services team in professional development and ensuring that systems and processes are available to the team in order to provide efficient, consistent, knowledgeable and high quality service to our clients. Angela’s experiences with a variety of organizations and industries, including manufacturing, software technology, hospitality, retail, not-for profits, construction and real estate development has provided her with a broad base of knowledge in several functional areas, including financial, human resources and facilities management, strategic planning, information technology, marketing and business development.

Angela and her husband are the proud parents of three active daughters, who Angela enjoys watching and encouraging in a variety of extra-curricular activities, including cheer leading, swimming and music, but particularly enjoys coaching them in basketball and Ultimate (frisbee, that is!), when she isn’t at one of her other volunteer commitments. When not working or attending extra-curricular activities, Angela enjoys time on the water in the family’s little bowrider aptly christened “Mid-Life Crisis”, doing her best to perfect the “whip” that sends the girls into gales of laughter.

Leslie Robinson

Senior Manager

Leslie has over 25 years of accounting experience working with large corporations, including James Richardson & Sons Ltd. and Canwest global Communications Corp. In addition, she brings experience to Platinum Business Services from her previous positions as a Controller of small-to-medium sized local businesses. She has experience with full cycle accounting, year-end working paper files, budget preparation and has a strong background in both personal and corporate tax preparation. Leslie is a graduate of the CGA program and has also completed levels 1 and 2 of the CICA In-depth Tax Course. When Leslie's not working, she loves to spend time with her family or catching up on her reading with the latest best seller. During the winter months, she is involved in a fun league at the local curling club.

Hayley Hodgson

Business Enhancement Manager

Hayley is a business advisor specializing in strategy, finance and management. For over 18 years Hayley has been working with owner managed businesses that range in size from $1mm to $25mm in gross revenues. Hayley’s primary focus is on the coordination of people, processes and technology to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of a business’ information needs. She has worked within a multitude of industries with a strong background in retail and manufacturing.

Hayley is a past Moderator in the graduate education program of her legacy designation – Certified Management Accountant – where in 6 years she taught aprox. 300 CMA Candidates. Hayley was also a national trainer and author for Intuit Canada, the publishers of QuickBooks – where in 5 years she trained over 2000 users and wrote a 300 page training guide in the application and use of QuickBooks.

Vivian Sigurdson

Account Manager & Technology Specialist

Vivian has been with Platinum Business Services since 2007. She has a diploma in Accounting and Payroll Administration from Herzing College, and a diploma in Office Administration specializing in Accounting from Assiniboine Community College. Vivian enjoys learning new software and technology and is especially proficient with the advanced fetures of Quickbooks, Sage 50, and QuickBooks Online. In her spare time, she enjoys horses, horse racing and spending time with her family.

Wendy Hildahl

Account Manager

Wendy is a CGA with over 15 years of accounting experience working with both small and large corporations. She has gained valuable knowledge through previous positions including Assistant Corporate Controller with a publicly traded company as well as Controller of a travel agency. Wendy has experience with many aspects of accounting from full cycle accounting and year-end files to corporate tax preparation. In her spare time, she enjoys weekends at the lake and spending time with family and friends.

Account Manager

Recently merged her company with Platinum Business Services, she has many years of experience both in industry and running her own bookkeeping company.

Heena Shah

Accounting Technician

Heena has over 10 years experience in construction, retail and hospitality full cycle accounting. Heena is currently on extended leave of absence and is expected to return later this year.

Kerry Halprin

Accounting Technician, Technology Support

Kerry joined the company fresh out of the Accounting Technician training at Red River and has become a valuable support person on the team and a very strong researcher of answers to unique challenges and setting up processes for the team. He works with most of our divisions in supporting the primary service provider.

Imelda has approximately 20 years experience in a wide variety of industries including legal and dental services.

Matthew comes to our team as a recent graduate of an accounting program - he just loves numbers and solving problems.

Sharon Toth

Office Assistant

Sharon joined the Platinum Business Services team in January 2017, bringing several years of customer service and reception experience to the team, including ten years as a hair stylist. In 2015 Sharon earned an Administrative Assistant Diploma and gained work experience in a variety of contract positions. Sharon has just recently become an empty nester and is enjoying the peace and quiet. In her spare time she enjoys crocheting, sewing, baking and watching a little TV to unwind.

Leonne Bilodeau

Senior Manager

Leonne has over 25 years experience in a variety of capacities and within a wide range of organizations and industries working with both profit and non-profit organizations. Prior to joining our team, Leonne worked independently for 12 years providing accounting services from full-cycle accounting to year-end working files, grant application preparation and reporting, budgets, identifying operational deficiencies and implementing process improvements.

Leonne is passionate about the arts and culture in our beautiful city. She is very active with outdoor activities, pilates, yoga and learning piano.

Laura has her Bachelor of Commerce degree specializing in accounting. She has recently returned from a couple years of maternity related time away from work. Laura has a wide range of experience in several industries and is committed helping our customers run their business better with accurate financials and increased profits.

Patricia Guenther

Account Manager

Patricia Guenther is an Account Manager at Platinum Business Services. She gained most her accounting experience in Altona, Manitoba and in 2019 move back to Winnipeg to further her career. Patricia has 8 years of experience in accounting, in a variety of industries with the majority in the service industry.

Launa has over 20 years experience in profit and non-profit in a variety of industries and has become one of our professional services specialists in addition to process development.

Nailia Kargina

Senior Manager

Nailia has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Management. She is at the final stage of completing the CPA Professional Education Program. Nailia has 14+years of experience in Accounting and Finance in manufacturing, retail and service industries. Nailia has an experience with working with financially challenged entities and creating a financial recovery plan. Nailia also has an experience in implementing the new point of sale system that resulted in automatization of the process in AR Department and automatization of revenue reconciliation. Nailia is a Member and a Secretary of CPA Toastmaster’s club.

Dianne Antila

Dianne Antilla  - came to Platinum with 30 years experience as a controller and divisional CFO after deciding to work part time and use her designated knowledge and experience to support our customers.  On behalf of our company she provides Fractional Controller services to a handful of our more complex customers.

Yanyi He

Yanyi has experience in different industries. She is always enthusiastic and focused in her work. In her spare time she goes to off-leash dog park with her dog.

Wayne Friesen

Account Manager

Wayne received his CMA designation in 1988 and has worked in accounting at the Canadian Wheat Board and at a local industrial cooling firm.  He has experience with full-cycle accounting.  Wayne enjoys things related to food, and in spending time at the family cottage in NW Ontario.

Carl Soholt

Senior Manager

Carl is a CA (Chartered Accountant). He spent several years in public practice, specializing in tax objections and appeals, before making the jump into industry. Carl accumulated over 30 years of experience as a Controller in various industries including manufacturing, construction, property management, financial services and non-profit organizations.

In the community, Carl has taught evening courses in advanced financial accounting at the University of Manitoba, recorded audiobooks for the CNIB, and fostered abandoned/abused dogs for the Winnipeg Humane Society and Manitoba Sheltie Rescue.

Jannatun Naher

Accounting Technician/Manager

Jannatun has a diploma in Accounting and Payroll Administration from Robertson College with over three years of industry experience. She also has experience working with several different accounting software programs including QuickBooks (Desktop & Online), Sage 50, SAP and AS400.
